FML a speeding ticket!

My body did not adjust at all to the time change so I basically get up at 6am everyday no matter what time I go to bed. 6am really being 9am to my body stuck on Ontario time.
So I decided to go for a run. 6km through Tofino, then back to the beach one last time. I found a sand dollar too so I was really glad I went for the run!!
I packed everything up, loaded up the stang and dropped the roof. I didn't care that it was 14°C cause damn I looked good!!
On the way out of Tofino, there was a young girl hitchhiking, so I picked her up instead of some crazy dude! Nice girl from Quebec and the company was great. It is a 3 hour drive back to Nanaimo. And of course the red shine convertible Mustang got me in trouble with a $135 speeding ticket!! I just hope it doesn't show up on my driving record! Maybe cause its in a different province? Lol
Then it was time to say goodbye to a great friend. I will sure miss that car. We had such a great connection. :'(
On a positive note though, I got to see Tommie again. He really is a good guy and will be missed.
So here I am, 10:33am West Coast time, sitting in the airport and thinking about my adventure. It has come to an end and I will soon be facing reality once again. Hopefully a bit wiser and a bit more relaxed. Of course if I survive the plane ride home! LMAO This is definitely a nice place and I would love to just pick up and leave.

Terrific Tuesday

Another fantastic day! This trip is turning out to be one of the best ideas I had in a long time!
I really enjoyed the drive to Tofino. The windy mountain road combined with a sweet ass Mustang is the perfect combination for me! LOL and the beauty of it is that I get to do it again!! Hopefully with the top down this time!!!
I also really love nature and walking through it. I took pictures but the camera can't capture the essence or feeling you get when you're actually there.
Cathedral Grove was amazing! It gave me goose bumps. Oh and my shoes got extremely muddy. LOL
I also walked to Tonquin Beach in Tofino. Another amazing place!
I also have something to confess. I've been eating like shit too. So much high calorie, not healthy junk. LOL Tonight, I had tempura battered wild salmon with fries and deep fried pickles! Plus a really delicious brownie! When I get home, it will be back to healthy eating and maybe even a fasting cleanse! Oh well, I'm on vacation right? And deserve a treat or two or three??
There is one thing missing though. Someone to share these moments with. Well, I am sharing them with you, my loyal blog fans but it would have been nice if someone was actually with me. To hold my hand, kiss on the beach or even take off our shoes and dip our feet in the freezing ocean water. I'm sure I'll meet a great guy when the time is right.

Just another Manic Monday...

What a great day. The weather was shit though. LOL
It started off with my cousin Jackie cooking me bacon and eggs! Sweet deal eh? Then her and Kyle drove me to the ferry in Horseshoe Bay. Yep I got on a boat!! Don't get me wrong, my anxiety was through the roof but it came down and I didn't feel sick at all! I actually really enjoyed it and can't wait for the ride back.
Just when I thought my day couldn't get sweeter, it did! I got picked up by Budget Car rentals and had a Ford Fiesta booked. I was quite excited to drive it however, there was a red 5.0 Mustang Convertible teasing me. Yep, I upgraded! I couldn't pass the opportunity up!
Now to the highlight of my day. I met Tommie in real life for the first time! We have been chatting since November! What a great guy! We hopped in the Mustang and drove to Victoria. Had a fabulous dinner with a drink to follow in the Bengal lounge. Oh and I had a Victoria chocolate! Yum!!
So I'm sad that this day ended, but tomorrow should be interesting. I'm driving the Mustang to Tofino. Which I hear is beautiful! I will take lots of pictures!!

First Night.

So I made it to Vancouver! Its actually really nice here. I would love to pack up and move. The people are different, I dunno, its hard to explain.
I got to see the Olympic cauldron, (I will post a pic soon) and downtown Vancouver. The mountains are amazing!
Special thanks to cousin Jackie and Kyle for showing me around, dinner and a place to sleep.
Tomorrow looks like a greasy breakfast and a ferry over to the island. I wonder what adventures await!! Lol

Sunday Morning...

OMG its Sunday morning and my anxiety is through the roof.
Plus having dreamed crazy shit the night before doesn't help. So one was about a funeral for no one, another one where I got lost in Vancouver and finally my favorite, where I was the possessed girl from the exorcist on the airplane ride and my head was spinning around!
Will I survive this? :-S

Saturday June 30

So, as of 6:49pm on Saturday June 30, 2012, I was officially on Holidays!
I had absolutely nothing planned for this week off.  Okay, that was a lie.  Sunday, I was suppose to take Annie to see fireworks with Corey, which would have been the last time I seen him, before he moved away.  Then, Monday was a BBQ and swim at Deb and Bruce's.  Tuesday was dinner with Devon, in which she commented, "You suck" when I told her I had to cancel!  LOL  Thursday was hang with Tyna day, since she just got back from a trip and missed me of course.  I missed her too!! Hmmmm, I had a really busy week planned!
All day while driving the Stone Church bus I thought, I need to get away.  I need adventure!  I had been thinking of a trip to Vancouver for quite sometime, so when I got home, I looked up flights.
Before I knew it, I was punching in information and my flight was booked!  LOL
Hello adventure, good bye Hamilton, well for 5 days anyways!  
My backpack is packed, I have the stars to guide me and the wind in my sails!  Everyday a different adventure!  Everyday, a different blog entry.  I bet I got you filled with anticipation and excitement, sitting on the edge of your seat wondering what could possibly happen next!  
Well, I guess you will have to check back to find out! Bwhahahahaha!!!
